True to the title what else can one do after watching loads of Netflix, amazon prime, Hulu, Voot, YouTube, and everything else under the sun this quarantine season or compulsory holidays. Gaming! One of the biggest phenomena in countries like Korea where there are dedicated PC-Bang as in like PC houses where one can spend hours playing video games and order in snacks and drinks while the play matches. Strange enough there are also real jobs where one has to just play video games to analyze and rate video games to tell video game companies whether they will be indeed a huge hit in the market.

What started as the angry birds and manifested into big marketing and merchandising concepts from angry bird nuggets to T-shirts to PUBG café, gaming in general to say the least is addictive and a lucrative market. This obviously puts things into perspective as to why gaming is so loved, that mobile downloads are limitless irrespective how much battery it drains and consumes, what lack of storage, and of course the communities, terminologies, and language formed for each game.

This obviously puts things into perspective as to why gaming is so loved, that mobile downloads are limitless irrespective how much battery it drains and consumes, what lack of storage, and of course the communities, terminologies, and language formed for each game.

But why this much love for a video game.

The answer is simple - because its relaxing. It gives enough gratification for a person to enter more often than not in a fantasy world. This allows them to transport themselves along with offering adrenaline rush especially if you are playing games like league of legends.

Another reason is that video game companies have increasing become more receptive to providing a real experience. Now, if you are a Potterhead and ever played the quizzes on Pottermore, you will know that the experience with the headphones is much different than the one without it. Similarly, sounds of water, fire, and even weapons used by gaming characters are made to sound very realistic.

All of this holds true considering about 70% of gamers spend about 42% of their time on mobile video games. One must observe that gaming in itself is an entire genre on YouTube, where the following is massive. One can have whole experience of golfing on a video game. Therefore, to those who invested in their video game gears and consoles right before quarantine are definitely much blessed than others.
