A storyboard is a visual representation of a film sequence and breaks down the action into individual panels. It is a series of ordered drawings, with camera direction, dialogue, or other pertinent details. It sketches out how a video will unfold, shot by shot.
The tasks that are executed during the filming or shooting. This includes tasks such as setting up scenes, lighting, makeup and hair for actors, blocking actors, dialogue rehersals- combining and monitoring all the prerequisites needed to capture the required footage,. It follows the pre-production stage and evolves into the post-production stage.
The stage after shooting that involves editing to the script using all the OK rushes, adding visual special effects, colour correction and grading and incorporating the entire gamut of Sound Designing. Also called second direction.
